DAPORIJO

Daporijo, is a beautiful place on the right bank of Subansiri river with picturesque villages.Located a few kms away from here are some caves. Languages spoken here are Tagin, Hill Miri, Adi(Gallong), Hindi, Assamese and English. Ideal for Trekking and angling on river Subansiri.

Best Season to visit : October to April.

Getting There: Nearest airport is at Lilabari. Nearest railway stations would be North Lakhimpur and Silapathar. One can reach Daporijo by bus from Itanagar via Ziro and from Likabali via Bazaar.

Clothing : Woollens are required in winters and cottons in summers.
